Meal preparation and catering in Greater Boston and beyond.
Done-for-you meal prep and event catering services that will take worrying about what’s for dinner off your plate.
You’ve never experienced meal preparation like this before.
✓ You want a fridge full of meals built around your goals and preferences, not a one-size-fits-all menu.
✓ Food that fits your dietary needs without the stress.
✓ A week with dinner completely handled.
I hear you, and I'm here to take meal prep entirely off your plate.
At Red Fennel Kitchen, I cook real food built around the way you actually want to eat.
Everything is made with organic ingredients, prepped with as little waste as possible, and packed in non-toxic, reusable containers (better for you, and for the planet that grew your dinner).
Your only job? Tell me what you like. Then show up hungry.
In-Home Meal Preparation Service
I cook in your kitchen. You get the rest of your week back.

Before your first cook, you'll fill out a short food questionnaire so I can plan a menu around your tastes, your household, and any dietary needs or allergies. On cook day, I shop, cook everything from start to finish in your kitchen, and clean up every dish I dirty. You walk into a fridge full of food and a kitchen that looks like nothing happened.
It's a good fit if you want real, home-cooked meals without the planning, the grocery runs, or the 6 p.m. scramble, and you'd rather spend your evenings with the people or on the work that matters.

Delivered Meal Preparation
A custom menu, designed around you, delivered to your door.

We start with a quick conversation about your tastes, your household, and anything I should know about how you eat (allergies, dietary needs, the foods that make you happy, the ones that don't). I plan the week's menu around all of it, shop for entirely organic foods, cook them in my commercial kitchen, and deliver everything to your door fully prepared and beautifully portioned. You reheat and eat.
It's a good fit if you want nourishing, thoughtfully made food showing up in your life on a regular rhythm, without the planning, the shopping, or the evening panic. Whether your schedule is packed or just unpredictable, it means one less thing to figure out, every single week.

Setting it up is gentle and quick. You tell me a little about where you are in recovery, what feels nourishing right now, and anything else I should know such as allergies, foods that bring comfort, foods to skip while nursing. From there, I plan the menu, source everything organically, cook it in my commercial kitchen, and bring it over ready for your fridge.

Event Catering
Courses as memorable as the moment.

Planning starts well before the day itself. We talk through the occasion, the headcount, the vibe you're after, and how your guests eat (allergies, dietary needs, etc.). From there I design the menu, source it organically, prep what I can ahead, and arrive ready to cook, plate, and style on site. When the last guest leaves, the kitchen is cleaner than I found it.
This is the service for the moments that deserve more than a tray of grocery-store appetizers and where the food is part of the memory. Intimate dinners, milestone parties, launches, showers: if there's a reason to gather, I'll build the menu around it.

FROM THE RED FENNEL FAMILIES…
Red Fennel is perfect for the person who…
✓ Is stretched thin (a busy parent, a new mom, a founder, an athlete) and has started to feel like feeding everyone has become its own unpaid job
✓ Cares about how their food is actually made: I cook with organic ingredients, prioritize low waste, and use non-toxic containers
✓ Wants a real relationship with a single chef who learns how they eat, not a rotating app, a subscription box, or a stranger every week
✓ Is ready to hand the planning, the shopping, and the prepping over completely, and to trust someone else with the details
✓ Lives or hosts in Greater Boston (traveling further is possible on request)
✗ Wants a weight-loss or diet program (I don't build menus around restriction or calorie cuts. If you have performance goals or macro targets, I'm absolutely here for that. The difference is cooking toward something instead of cutting everything out)
✗ Needs same-day service (I plan menus and shop ahead, so a little lead time is part of how the magic happens)
✗ Wants zero communication (the best results come from a short, honest back-and-forth about how you actually eat)
Red Fennel is not for the person who…

We’ll hop on the phone and talk through what you need, how you eat, and which service actually fits your life. From there I build a menu and we pick a date. No portal, no chatbot, just me.
-
Yes, and it's one of my favorite parts of the job. A new diagnosis, a serious allergy, a postpartum body, an athlete's training plan: the menu is built around how you actually eat, every time. Real, whole foods, with your needs treated as the starting point and never an afterthought.
-
Before I plan a single dish, I want to know how you eat, what you love, what you won't touch, and what your week actually looks like. The menu comes from that conversation, not a template. The longer we work together, the more dialed-in it gets.
-
Always. If there's a dish you've been craving, an ingredient you want to use up, or a recipe you've seen somewhere and want a version of, tell me. This is your food. Requests aren't an imposition, they're useful!

For in-home cooking, a working kitchen and a little fridge space (I bring the knives, the groceries, and the plan). For delivery, just a door. New delivery clients get their glass containers and an insulated bag in the one-time setup fee, so there's nothing for you to buy.
-
You could. But a meal kit still hands you the planning, the cooking, the cleanup, and the deciding. Red Fennel Kitchen takes the whole mental load off your plate, not just the grocery run. And it's one chef who learns your tastes over time, not a different stranger every week.
-
Absolutely. Life isn't on a fixed schedule, and your meals don't have to be either. Travel, a busy stretch, a week with family in town: just give me a heads-up and we'll pause or skip as needed. Recurring service should make your life easier, not stress you out!
-
Bachelorettes, baby showers, brand launches, backyard dinner parties, birthday dinners…if it's worth celebrating, I can build a menu around it. I handle the sourcing, cooking, styling, and cleanup. You just show up and enjoy it. Reach out with a rough headcount and date and we'll go from there.
Let’s get healthy, nutritious meals on your table.
If you're not sure which service fits, just say hi and I’ll help you figure it out.
Red Fennel Kitchen is small on purpose, which means every client gets real attention and food that actually tastes like someone made it for you.
